Can the F-35 dogfight? You be the judge. Lockheed Martin's video of the F-35's debut aerial display at the 2017 Paris Air Show. It is hard to judge because of the lack of a ground reference point and the constant zoom in/out of the camera. However, the aerial display did demonstrate a few slick moves and turns. If the F-35 and its adversary are both fighting at low speed and low energy state, the Lightning II may be able to quickly point its nose in the right direction.
